How is the game graphics developed?

Graphics is constantly being improved by our small team of one programmer, one graphic designer, one animator and two other support members. However, at this point we focus rather on enjoyment, variability and fun.

What are the hardware requirements?

The current graphic demands are not high; only the processor and memory are critical for a smoothly running game. Intel Celeron at 1 GHz and 512 MB of RAM should be sufficient. The video card should support Pixel Shader 2.0. Exact information will be provided during out testing process.

What operating systems can be used in playing Archamon?

The game is being developed for PC/Windows. You can run it on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. You will also need to install DirectX 9.0c (August 2009) and .NET Framework 2.0 or a newer version.

Will the game contain any campaigns?

It all depends on the interest of players, but primarily no campaigns are planned. The game will contain an editor of skirmish missions and the player will be able to simulate, for example, a siege of a fortress or similar military actions (in short missions, you will not have to use the economic part of the game).

How large is the game world?

That depends on the player, who can choose a map of 80x80 squares up to 640x640 squares (this is already a very large map).

When will the game be released?

The date is not yet known, but the full version will be ready in winter 2011 at earliest.

Will the game be free?

The full version will not be completely free as the amount of time involved in the development is quite high for freeware, but the cost will be rather low.
